Introducing Our Vintage Cocktail Fountain
We're adding something new to the bar lineup. Social Butterfly ATX now offers a tiered vintage cocktail fountain as an add-on for events, and it's quickly becoming one of our favorite ways to elevate a bar setup.
What is a Cocktail Fountain?
The fountain is a polished, multi-tiered beverage display that creates a cascading pour effect, similar to a champagne tower but built for continuous self-serve flow. It can run punch, sangria, a signature cocktail, or a festive non-alcoholic option. Basically, anything you'd normally mix behind the bar can be poured into the fountain instead.
Why It's Worth Adding
If you're the type of host who considers themselves “extra,” our vintage cocktail fountain belongs in your arsenal of oh-wow moments. The fountain does two things at once; It gives guests a striking visual centerpiece and a built-in photo moment. It also creates a dedicated pour station that is staffed by one of our TABC-certified bartenders. This takes pressure off the main bar during busy stretches like cocktail hour or a toast. For a signature drink you want everyone to try, it's a fun way to make that drink the centerpiece of the room instead of just another item on the menu!
A Few Drinks We Love Serving Fountain-style:
A dirty martini, poured straight from the fountain with a garnish bar alongside. Guests can build their own with an assortment of accoutrements, including olives, cocktail onions, extra olive juice, or a bump of caviar.
A margarita with the option to choose your tequila, flavor, garnish, and salt rim.
A classic Negroni, equal parts gin, Campari, and sweet vermouth, served continuously so the line at the bar never builds up.
Beyond those, the fountain works well for a seasonal sangria or a zero-proof option like a sparkling fruit punch, so something is flowing for every guest.
How to Add It to Your Event
The fountain can be booked as an add-on to one of our standard bar packages, or on its own as a standalone service. A standalone fountain booking includes one TABC-certified bartender to assist with setup, serving, and clean up. Pricing varies by event, starting at $200 per hour with a two-hour minimum. Reach out and we'll walk you through the details, including which drinks work best for fountain service.
