Backyard Weddings: There's something irreplaceable about getting married at home, in the backyard where you grew up, or the property that means something to your family. We bring a full bar experience to private homes and outdoor spaces, handling every logistical detail so the space feels effortless on your day.
Rehearsal Dinners: The night before the wedding sets the tone for everything that follows. Whether it's an intimate dinner for twenty or a lively gathering for sixty, we design a cocktail menu that feels celebratory without stealing the show from tomorrow.
Elopements: Just the two of you, and maybe a handful of the people who matter most. We've bartended elopements with eight guests and elopements with thirty. Small doesn't mean simple. It means every detail gets even more attention.
Intimate Receptions: For weddings under 125 guests hosted at a private home, a Hill Country ranch, or a boutique venue, Social Butterfly ATX is in its element. We thrive in the spaces where the big catering companies feel too corporate, and the personal touch actually matters.
Engagement Parties: The first celebration of your new chapter deserves a great bar. Custom cocktails built around the couple, a gorgeous setup, and the kind of hospitality that makes everyone feel like a VIP.
What Makes Us Different for Wedding Clients
We're not a staffing agency sending whoever is available. Every wedding booking is personally managed by Millie, from your first inquiry to the final pour.
She develops your cocktail menu around your taste, your theme, and your crowd. She hand-picks the produce, dehydrates the garnishes, batches the cocktails, and designs the bar setup. She coordinates directly with your wedding planner, your venue, and your other vendors so nothing falls through the cracks.
On your wedding day, you don't think about the bar. You just enjoy it.
Your Wedding Bar, Designed Around You
Every Social Butterfly ATX wedding booking includes a TABC-certified and fully insured bartender personally selected by Millie, an aesthetic mobile bar setup designed to complement your wedding aesthetic, a custom cocktail menu built around your taste and season, all non-alcoholic ingredients including fresh-squeezed juices and house-made syrups, eco-friendly drinkware, cocktail napkins, picks and straws, ice and coolers, a printed bar menu, a custom alcohol shopping list with exact quantities, full logistics coordination with your planner and venue, and setup, service, and breakdown. Travel up to 20 miles round-trip is included.
We operate as a dry hire service. You purchase the alcohol, and we provide everything else, including a precise shopping list so you never overbuy or run out.

Honest Pricing for Your Wedding Bar
Our wedding services start at $1,000 for 4 hours. Most wedding clients invest between $1,500 and $2,000, depending on guest count, event length, and add-ons. Smaller events, including rehearsal dinners and elopements, often fall at the lower end of that range.
Your quote includes everything except the alcohol. We take care of the rest, including your TABC-certified bartender, aesthetic mobile bar setup, custom cocktail menu development, all non-alcoholic ingredients, fresh-squeezed juices, house-made syrups, dehydrated garnishes, eco-friendly drinkware, ice, coolers, a printed bar menu, a custom alcohol shopping list with exact quantities and brands, full vendor coordination, and setup and breakdown. Travel up to 20 miles is included.
You purchase the alcohol. We handle everything else.
Weddings require more planning, coordination, and attention to detail than a standard private party, and we take every bit of that seriously. Working With Wedding Planners
If you have a wedding planner, we consider them part of our team from day one. We coordinate directly on load-in timing, bar placement, last call, and breakdown, so nothing lands on your plate on your big day. We've worked alongside planners, florists, photographers, caterers, and DJs across Austin and the Hill Country, and we know how to be the vendor that makes everyone else's job easier.
A Few Things Worth Knowing
We book up quickly during spring and fall wedding season. If your date falls between March and May or September and November, reach out as early as possible. We are currently accepting bookings through Summer 2027.
For outdoor weddings, we always discuss a weather backup plan during the planning process. For venue weddings, we confirm load-in access, electricity, and logistics in advance so there are no surprises on your day.
