Founder of Social Butterfly ATX, and the person who knows your party inside and out before a single drink gets poured.
Millie is the kind of person who puts her whole heart into everything she does, and Social Butterfly ATX is no exception.
After years in Austin's hospitality industry, it was bartending at a close friend's backyard wedding that sparked something. She saw what it felt like when an event bar was done with real care. When guests felt genuinely welcomed, when the drinks were beautiful, and when the host could actually breathe and enjoy their own party. She built Social Butterfly around that feeling.
Hospitality first. Always.
Every booking comes through Millie personally. She does the shopping, hand-picks the produce, dehydrates the garnishes, and develops every cocktail recipe herself. Our bartenders are handpicked friends from the industry, but the vision, the aesthetic, and the experience are always hers.
Since launching in September 2025, Social Butterfly ATX has served nearly 50 events across Austin. From backyard weddings and holiday parties to brand activations, housewarmings, and everything in between
When Millie's not planning her next event, you'll probably find her at Murray's Tavern working through her usual: prime rib, French fries, and a Dirty Negroni. For cocktails, she recommends the Frozen Irish Coffee from Nickle City, a Dirty Vodka Martini, and a caviar bump from Daydreamer, and the Miami Nice from Hacienda.
Outside of work, she's spending time with her husband and their dogs, including Roscoe, her rescue pug, cruising around Austin on a vintage Vespa, or crocheting something she'll probably never finish.

A few things you might not expect!
Millie once curated the fish collection for Rainforest Cafe in Chicago, maintaining over 10,000 gallons of saltwater aquariums and hundreds of species of tropical fish. She spent several years on the festival circuit selling handmade crochet clothing at Bonnaroo, Austin City Limits, SXSW, and Two Step Inn. She's a scuba diver and grew up riding horses, competing at the Training Level in Eventing alongside Sting, her retired racehorse.
It’s safe to say she's never had a boring chapter.
